I went to Alan's ( an Ex 912 owner ) place in Poole today and then popped into Alex's place Retro and bumped in to Doug ( the mistry chap from London who was buying the high spec 912 engine from Alex.

Looks like alot of bits there shoudl make a great engine......it was like a min Porsche meet..[:D][:D]

That will be me then!
It's such a small world, especially for a rainy Monday afternoon.

Now I've just got to get that baby pieced together. I've set myself a target of completing it for CLM 2008! (probably too hopeful given my mechanical skills)

NO!!! you have the bits... strip it down you could do that in a weekend... call Andy or Barry and book in for an inspection and you have FEB MARCH and then April you should be about ready to fire her up... 3-4 months tops...

3-4 months??

It will take me that time just to collect the nails, string and tape I need to hold it together!

Seriously though, I won't be starting this assembly much before spring so maybe by the end of summer my tail will be on fire!
