Hi all,

My Boxster 981 has the default sound system which is quite underwhelming. I am considering installing a better sound system. I am still under warranty so probably have to do it through the OPC. Just wondering if you have recommendations or any idea of the cost.

like you say if you want to keep your warranty your first and only stop is to go to OPC and have Bose upgrade, after lots of pondering I took a deep breath and removed the underwhelming full sound package plus system in my 987 and replaced it all with :-

Head unit Pioneer AVIC-F970BT | Nav ,Apple Car play,Reverse cam,Blutooth - Wanted this as it has removable anti theft piece.

Amp & Speaks :- Audison Prima AP4 D bit drive
Speakers : - AP8 Woofers / AP4 Mid Bass / Tweets are other due to the AP1 Audison created induced interference taken out and replaced with other.
