A lot of paddock talk is about the decline of the '64RSs in the UK. SCoM, Strasse and private sales have recently sold '64RS back to Europe (notably The Netherlands and Belgium). The strong Euro is buying quality metal it appears. Just how many '64RS (all variants) are left in the UK? How many are going to be left when the rout finishes? Are there any being imported into the UK? Good to see that Des's car was sold to Hugh and stayed on these shores.

there are a few of us doing our bit to keep the cars in this country. Damen, Jason, barty964RST and me all have bought 64s this year. I am sure they will ebb and flow over the years,

I'm taking a 2.4S out in Jan, and bringing a 964RS back...so it ain't all one way!!!

Knowing how sensible Englishmen could be, I concentrated hard not to hurt them people's feelings. My www search ended with the re-import of 499198 back to the Fatherland from South African shores. I would think that should jolly well qualify for a pad on the shoulder.

Wish y'all a very merry christmas and a harm free 2010 track day season
