Rev counter back light

Half of the back light on my rev counter has gone - assume it must be a bulb thats gone - has anyone had this happen to them and is it just a case of taking out the rev counter and putting in a new bulb.

Yes it is basically. I replaced mine a few weeks ago. Only complicating factor is that if you have the on board computer then the steering wheel has to come off as the gauge is deeper. I don't have one, so I was able to wiggle the gauge out with the steering wheel turned in various directions.
Hope this helps.

I've got the same problem

What is the spec of the rev counter bulb (being too lazy to look it up [;)] )

Pete

They are meant to be 0.9 Watt 12 Volt DC bulbs with the brighter 1.5 Watt bulbs in the warning lights. What some people to (and obviously a previous owner of my car) is to change them all to 1.5 Watt bulbs to make the whole display brighter. I've got a few spare 0.9 Watt bulbs now!

Nice one - mines just gone too - was going to post this myself and thought it was going to be a big job.....
