Rev limiter 5000rpm

Hi All

Iam new here

After selling my 911sc after owning for 15 years. I picked up a 2.5 boxster yesturday its done 58k with 2 owners very tidy I looked at over 10 boxsters. But on my way home on a 4hr drive its like it hits the rev limter at 5000rpm. Has anyone had this any help would be fantastic.

Can you get it to a dealer to put a tester on it to check fault codes? My guess would be a MAF problem but then again........[;)]

Not really no. You want to get this sorted before anything gets damaged. Don't mess about with something that "might" work You need the proper Porsche one.

Save your money. As Mark says PC Exeter is your best bet. Very helpful and friendly. Ask for Wayne or Tim and say I recommended them to you! If you want to go Indie, Andy Moss at Honiton.
