Reverse Light Switch

Anyone know where it is?

Car has just had MOT/Service/ some work carried out at the specialist. This included a couple gearbox seals replaced. Noticed last night however that the reversing lights aren't working.

I'm assuming that the switch has been disturbed (possibly not even consciously).

If it's easy to find and fiddle with I'll just do it myself ~ specialist is some distance away.

thanks in advance folks :)

(As an aside - got a geom check carried out whilst the car was in as I wasn't happy with it's reaction to big (road) camber changes ~ would "dive" off-line quite aggressively. Front was toe-out slightly, camber was in spec (but now adjusted to optimum), and castor was out. Car feels soooo much more stable now ~ delighted! [:)] Probably no surprise to any of you guys, just thought I'd mention it! )

Had the same problem, it happened that just the cable plug on the gearbox had found its way out.

The switch is on the right hand side (when looking from the back if remember rightly) of the gearbox, near the top, and should be easy to find if you crawl under there. Sorry I don't have a picture at the moment. If you have no joy wiggling it to get it to work, then a new one is only a few pounds.
