Reverse light switch

I have a 2002 c2 cab tiptronic and the reverse lights no longer work, also the n/s fog light has stopped so not sure if it's linked. I have checked bulbs and fuses and it seems to point to the reverse lights switch. Is this something I can fix myself, can anyone supply a step by step guide to replace it.
Many thanks
Gary

Welcome Gary!

The reversing lights are controlled by the multi-function switch on the bottom of the selector lever. You can buy the switch unit separately (c. £150) but you have to take out the centre console and shift mechanism to get to it.

The nearside fog light is unrelated. They aren't wired up - its a regulatory thing - despite a bulb being fitted at the factory!

Thanks Richard I will have a look to see how hard it is to remove everything a try to replace it myself
