RHD 911T

I have a RHD 1970 911T coupe which was exported from South Africa to the UK in 1999. Can anyone tell me how many 1970 RHD 911T's were produced? A bigger question is, how many were exported to South Africa in 1970?
I know these questions may be impossible to answer but a ball park figure would be very helpful.
Regards,

Hi James, I have some records for the Early 911 cars that were imported into UK.
I have counted through the "C" series cars for model year 1970 (ie, those produced between September 1969 to end July 1970) the records show that there were 46 RHD cars and 13 LHD cars imported. Most of these were Lux models and include 12 Sportomatic cars. I have no knowledge of any that were exported to South Africa, that information is not normally told to PCGB, the car just disappears but stays on the Clubs records. I presume its exportation is registered with our DVLA but does anyone know how to access those records at the DVLA, which are presumably covered by the Data Protection Act?

Robin,
Thanks very much for your response. The car was first registered 01.01.71 in South Africa, but was manufactured August 1970.
It is a 2.2 911T coupe. The car was exported from South Africa in 1999 to Tower Porsche (London).
I have all of the paperwork from that date and have talked to Tower Porsche who remember the car, albeit 15 years ago.
I have paperwork from the DVLA including a microfiche copy of the South African registration document. The car was exported,(I presume)
from Germany to Boksburg SA. All the numbers match (Body/engine/gearbox etc).If there is a possibility that you may be able to help with
numbers produced or any other information on the car, I would be most grateful.
Regards, Jim.

I am happy to help, but to fully check the lists I need the cars chassis number. If you wish to be discreet email me on, robinjowalker@aol.com with the chassis number and I will recheck the lists to see what I might find.
