Morning all

Having seen Jeff's query in the RS chassis number thread, I would be interested to know how many of you have RHD RS's, or know of RHD RS's in the UK.

For the record, I have a RHD Maritime RS that was originally destined for the Hong Kong market, but for whatever reason never made it there and ended up in Jersey, where it remained until I bought it 2 years ago, with less than 10 thousand miles on the clock!

slightly OT..

I don't have a RHD RS - but a LHD maritime blue RS CS - wanted to commend you on your colour choice[:D]

good choice of cars to have in the garage btw

Matt

Great colour. I would have bought one had the RS in Maritime came on the market but as it didn't and the Riviera Blue 993 stole my heart I ended up getting a red 993RS!! I must be colour blind[8D]

Harry

Should be 40 964RS RHD UK market cars 7 of which the Touring version....................the 964RS LHD/RHD was about ÂŁ20,000 more expensive than the C2 of the day.........a true RS..............

Harry

I am sure there is some logic in there somewhere.......[:D]

Des

Yes, I had seen the number of 47 RHD UK cars before, but presumably this then does not include any other RHD cars that have subsequently been imported.

if only i had the money i'd have a 993rs tomorrow (pref. in full clubsport spec), and probably in red as well..[:)]

So wot's wrong with a 964RS CS then, Matt?

Melv

Doh!

Yeh - that is gorgeous.

Was that the colur the 968CS used t come in? Take it that you can still get as a special order.

Spizz

The 968CS blue was Riviera blue. I presume you could could have asked for Maritime from Porsche for more dosh.

Harry

Just looking at http://www.porsche968uk.co.uk. According to that, Maritime Blue was one of 968 CS colours - although, looking at Riviera Blue looks more like what I remenber. Presumably one could get Maritime from the factory as a special order today.

nothing wrong with the 964RS CS at all - the most amazing (in terms of speed & handling) car I've ever driven. Looks are fantastic. Noise orgasmic. I love it to bits.
I've always had a bit of a thing for the 993RS CS however. I would not sell the 964 to get one, but would love the money to buy one in addition!
Just being greedy [:D]
Matt

Sorry Mel still learning however..Good question.......would be great to hear Matt's ORGASMIC NOISE...maybe Nic or a n other can help.........
