Hey all,

Travelling to the US next week, thinkin about getting some Headlight Clear/Clear lens' in for my 986. However these will be US spec LHD units.

Can they be installed in my RHD car, with the necessary adjustments to suit UK roads! Can i tweak a knob or like!

Thankyou

Ant

'fraid not. The reflectors on the standard lights are shaped to dip one-way only. (The standard Halogens have to be masked when driving abroad).

The litronincs however have a switch to switch from left-dip to right (although some say that it just takes the left dip out - making it a neutral-dip). Litronics have always come in clear-lens clusters, so I'm guessing you don't already have them [;)]

You do not want our halogen or litronic headlights. Our beam pattern is different and there is no adjustment because it is a function of the lense. Our litronics do not even have the switch. We have the markings for the switch in the headlight housing, but no switch. I guess the Germans thought we would never leave North America where all countries are LHD.
