Have you seen the ridiculous new MOT form that an 8 year old with photoshop could falsify in 10 minutes.

Looks like we will all have to do pre sale MOT verifications now

Must have changed very recently. My wife's Audi mot'd recently with the usual style certificate.

Incidentally I gather all Vehicle Registration Documents are changing and every owner is being sent a new style. Apparently blanks have been stolen in bulk and DVLA say this is only way to stop fraudulent vehicle transfers !!

I agree - we were shown these on a visit to OPC Glasgow last week. Theory is they have never been very secure so making them very obviously insecure will force everyone to look up the "truth" on the DVLA web site (which they said is free).

It's just not the same as "Mileage documented by every MOT certificate".[:-]

Why bother with the paperwork at all? If it's on line at DVLA you can print it later if you wanted?

I hate the new form, I prefer the old hand written ones!

According to my local MOT station, the original intention was to not have a form, until the Post Office pointed out that those wishing to tax there cars at a Post Office wouldn't be able to do so,[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Just got the new form.......rubbish...anyone can copy......apparently this is an "interim" form, to cover the "taxing the car at the post office! scenario....with a new one due out early new year......

Feels like we going backwards on this one..........
