Hi all,

Destination Nurburgring are doing a private 2 day trip to the 'ring in March for £649 this year.
I've done this trip a couple of times and it's fantastically run and you get the GP circuit as well as the North loop together. No cones halfway down the straight etc. Cars will be parked in the GP pitlane. I'll be staying at the Bergstrube hotel within 5 minutes walking distance of the track, with rooms starting at E49 for a single and E89 for a twin. If anyone wants more details or to join me and/or share a room PM me.

Great meeting up Rodney! Here's a vid I took following Tony in his 7.2RS around on a lap.

Heated seats on, stereo on, GTS is just an awesome car. :)

Nice lap Ade! [;)]
Lots of curb, lots of S-Express, lots of TPMS pings?

It's what happens when you set the iPod to Random mix! [:D] It was just the Speedo alert when hitting 100mph!

Car was superb - but one drives it differently from a GT3 as it does not have the same top end pull. There was a lot of short shifting to just surf the DFI engines torque, which sort of makes sense considering the road biased nature of the car. But it is still plenty quick: we did two lap stints - the 1st lap I would follow Tony, then the 2nd lap he would follow me. The 2nd lap was a fair bit quicker as there was clear air infront, and the lap time would drop a good 20+ seconds compared to the 1st. When following, I don't like to follow too close to avoid stone chips and stuff. Really lovin the car! Amazing bit of road kit Porsche have made [:)]
