Paul

I'll be there in my 993RS, along with a friend in his 964RS. Not bringing the GT2 this time????

Z

Hi Zub
We will have to have a beer down there, not taking the gt2,but the rs,
The rs will be more fun,the gt is just to nice to blat around the ring, and drive in the snow etc.I still need to learn a lot more of the ring,in a slightly slower car!saying that the rs is not much slower than the gt2.
Jusy fitting heaters back on to the rs,for some luxury, and then no need to wear jacket and gloves driving down there.
Just had a interesting one on the rs,fitted the front poly bushes on the wishbones, rhd side front bush had started working its way out.May be worth keeping a eye on these,i think you said you were going to fit these.
Regards

Hi john
Have you not got a ring pass yet,you would enjoy the trip, good company, great driving, food and beer!
Have you not got a gt2 yet, part ex that old yellow car for one,my father is looking for a car again.

Steady on mate, i'm fond of that old yellow girl!!!!!!
I might p/x for a low milage R.h.d polar silver GT2 if i could find one[:D][:D]

Colin - the trip is organised by RMA. Two days at the ring, closed to the public. Awesome, although last year we were snowed in when trying to leave !!! Took a whole day to get back to Calais, no fun driving in the snow in an RS with semi-race tyres with not much tread left. I got some new Dunlop SSR's yesterday for the rear, even though the current ones are only half worn, as I've learnt my lesson...

Just noticed this afternoon that there's a public day 1pm-4pm on the day before, so I'll probably just leave early on the Wednesday to make it for a few extra laps.

Colin it would be great for you to join us,the company is good as well as the beer and dancing girls.
its with the rma ,call graham,i have his details if you need them.
The days of the ring may be numbered,so worth getting it in when you can.
I take it you will be in the slow 993rscs,
melv come down with the 4 wheel drive,be great fun bouncing off the kerbs!better still come with the cup car.

Zub,i may well see you weds afternoon,as i am possibly going to look at a car just south of the ring on weds morning. Is steve Proctor going?

You lucky lot - sounds like fun but as I only have a lowly little C2 I wouldn't qualify (and I'm a girly so I probably wouldn't be allowed though I am used to being the only girl among the Porsches!) Enjoy your trip - see you at the do on Sat, Paul.

Paul

>>Is steve Proctor going?
At the moment, no, but we live in hope... If he does come it will be a last minute booking.

Come on Steve!!! You know you want to come along!

Yes steve come on!
laura i am sure you and charles would enjoy the ring visit, its a petrol heads paradise.Girls in 993 more than welcome.See you sat eve,not looking forward to the sore head sunday morning!!

You've all been very quiet about how you all got on! As it is now two weeks hence I assume you all got back in one piece - and had a blast.

Laura

We did indeed have a blast, weather was a bit damp and only had a dry line for a couple of hours each day, I had car problems and my GT2 and it's still residing at Manthey-Racing, had two massive drinking sessions and hangovers to go with them. Pretty much sums it up eh Burz?
