RMS.....

My RMS isn't leaking. I just got my car back from my Specialist following the 60000 mile service (at 36500 miles) to be told all was well and the seal was dry. I had a look myself and he was right. Great, I here you all cry.

However, at the 48000 mile service at the beginning of January (at 25000 miles), OPC West London said it was seeping slightly (and it was) and they would like to replace it for a small fee, which I politely declined. The previous owner had covered 21000 miles in four years and my feeling is that the RMS hadn't had chance to bed in. 1000 miles a month for the past year may have done the trick.

Any thoughts?

John,

My RMS started leaking 10,000 miles ago at 25k. It was confirmed as RMS and would be changed at the next service. The next service is due in the spring and its completely dried up. Absolutely no leak whatsoever.

My view is......
If your RMS starts leaking, LEAVE IT and it should fix itself in due course[8|]
