Road rescue cover outside UK?

As most of our 944s are at least 15 years old now and I wonder if someone know which road rescue company will provide breakdown assistence for 15 years+ classic cars in the continent. I have tried AA, RAC and Euro Tunnel offers and they all don't cover cars older than 15 years old. Please help.

I've taken an '83 911 to France every year for the past seven years, and I've always had breakdown cover from AA with a discount for being in a 'recognised car club' - about £35 - 40 for 6 days IIRC.

Does your post mean they've changed their policy?

I'm with ADAC the German Automobile club. They cover you for the whole of Europe, €90 - not sure if they have any age restrictions for the vehicles they cover, but the cover is for the person not a specified car

Here is an extract from the AA FAQs website ...

Q:My car is nearly 11 years old. Will my European Breakdown Cover "" Annual policy cover it this year?
A:The policy covers any eligible vehicle less than 11 years old. It will cover this vehicle for all trips until it becomes 11 years old, including any trip during which the vehicle will become 11 years old, providing it is less than 11 years old at the start of the trip. After this the vehicle will not be covered.

Maybe it's different if you're just buying cover for a specific trip? I guess they work out their risk according to the age of the car - unless they've just changed their policy across the board?

I have just misread the t&c. Rich is right about the single trip where there is no vehicle age limit but will require additional older vehicle supplement[>:]. Is this against the latest age discrimination law[8|]?
