Does anybody know what rate the Goverment is stinging us for since Budget day?? I'm just about to summer tax mine for 6 months but can't figure out what band my 3.2 falls into. I don't want to leave the decision to some Post Office worker who may get it wrong and over (or under......) charge me?? Can't find any emision details to band it myself. Anybody stumped up car tax this month???

Your car is not young enough to play in a band its PLG £ 99 for 6 months If you look at your docs it will tell you this
Its not up to the post office worker thay are on line to the DVLA

If you are unsure just do a Vehicle Enquiry here (http://tinyurl.com/2dcx2n) and it will confirm the correct RFL duty.

The duty bands relating to emmisions are determined by manufacturer figures and are only relevant to vehicles so banded when new as mentioned above. Even the newer 225gm/Km band only applies to vehicles registered after the new band was introduced - not retrospectively.

Dave
