Road / Trackday Brake Pads Recommendation?

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone could recommend a fast road/trackday brake pad for 99 C4 as the dreaded red light has popped up and i suspect fronts are worn...

Disks front and rear are genuine porsche and in good condition so only looking to change pads at this time.

Any recommendations would be appreciated - ideal pad would be some bite from cold but work well on trackdays-yellowstuff EBC seems to get mixed reviews but curious how they behave on 996s.

Thanks,

Steve

One of the best all-purpose pads due to a combination of good initial bite from cold on the road & the ability to work at extremely high temps as well.

I didn't think Pagid do a RS-15 in standard carrera sizes?

Personally, I use Performance Friction PF06's all round. An excellent track pad and acceptable on the road. Price is right too. They are a tad dusty though, but not nearly as bad as the 97 & 01 versions.

Friction level isn't as high, but sounds like a reasonable choice all the same - seems quite similar to the trusty old RS-29 in fact.

RS29's
I wanted greys, but couldn't get them in time.
ended up with the 29's and rather glad I did.
no issues on road, and great on track
