Road/wet tyres

Hello guys

I bought a set of Mille Miglia Cup 1 wheels over the weekend which are fitted with Michelin Cup tyres. Wheels are front 7.5 x 17 (205/50/ZR17) rear 9 x 17 (255/40/ZR17) as per usual.

Provided I can find somewhere to store the extra wheels (wife is not buying my suggestion that they would make nice furniture), I'll transfer the Michelin Cup tyres to the Mag wheels and fit the MM Cup wheels with some road tyres or wet track day tyres. Just wanted to see if any of you have had a good experience with road/wet tyres. I am looking for something that is good for general use (ride quality, noise, wear) and wet track days.

Vic raves about the Dunlop SP SS Race Wet tyres. S02s get good write ups. I had P Zero Rossos on my Boxster that were very good.

What are the rest of you running?

Thanks

p zeros (not rosso's).
wear rate seems ok
a bit squeally" in the dry when they are hot
road noise - no idea
good in the wet

I have been running toyo proxis on 18's and have no complaints
I had to tack them on the track last season as race car jammed a gear and they went very well.
Hope this helps
regards

ran S02s for a while , fine on road but melted like pizza cheese on the track if it was dry. Currently running plain Mich Pilot Sports ( not cups) , different tread pattern and harder rubber cf S02s, dont melt for me and OK grip in wet. Its very difficult to call the weather , can start wet and dry out fast , so your wet tyre needs to withstand block squirm and hotness from the hysterisis [;)] as well as avoiding aquaplaning , a big compromise.
The only drawback on the Miches is that they are noisy , intend to try the Toyo proxes next, these may be closer to S02's in performance, looks similar block pattern on the tread , reasonable price.
