Roof on my 2007 will not close correctly it judders on the left hand passenger side when closing and I have to manually help. is this cable or microswitch related thanks in advance

Sounds mechanical to me.

1st instance I would try lubricating all the bits of mechanism you can access.

I use a ptfe lubricant (wd40 do one ) as I read somewhere that’s the Porsche recommended lubricant for roof mechanism.

I've put some copper slip on the guide rail for the clam cover on my 986 and that's helped improve mine so maybe worth trying - not sure if it's approved but works.

Could be worth filming the car from each side when you operate the roof (put a camera / phone on a tripod) and try and see when / where / what parts judders maybe.
