When i switch the engine on, it shows route guidance not active on the computer.

everything works fine, does anyone know how i can get rid of this message on my computer.

Thanks

You have a choice of displays from the computer, if you mean the dash display (not the large screen), and can read mpg, distance left to empty etc. It will display what was last showing when you switched off so if you had active satnav when you arrived at your destination, then this 'route guidance not active' message will appear next time you start up.

As Peter says, its to do with the secondary display of the PCM... poor show on who ever sold you the car for not explaining...

Its changed by using the stalk on the left ( the one you should be using to check your oil level with[;)])

i hav tried changing with the stalk on the left but nothing happens, where do i go on the oil level stalk to change it?

With ignition on moving the lower left stalk up or down should cycle through the other displays - average consumption, range etc. Pushing the lower left stalk away should give you the menu - Oil, phone, set, etc which you can scroll up and down and select by pushing away again. Return to the original display by pulling up on the stalk. If it's not doing those things I think there is a problem with the system! The owners manual should help if you have it.
