I could do with a little help please, I have removed the inlet manifold, removed the bolts in the sensors but my hands are to big to get in and pull them out, the rubber hose stops me getting my hands in and I cant see how to get it out, as anybody else done the job and if so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well disappointed no one replied.
However I managed to get them out by adapting Mole grips into a slide hammer and spaying them with releasing fluid which lifted them out enough to get my big mits on them.

Sorry Mike!

It can be a bit quiet in here but please stay! :)

I think I recognise you from one of the facebook groups?

When I took mine apart many months ago I think one of the popped out and the other that is in the sleeve was pretty stuck (I ended up damaging the cables as they were very brittle). I got the stuck one out using a tip from rennlist, turn the sensor so the mounting holes is over a solid part of the bracket, then insert a bolt and thread a nut and washer onto the end so that when you turn the bolt it presses against the bracket and pushes the sensor up out of the bracket (like a reverse press).

I’d have replied advising you to do exactly what you did - but as it was the last weekend before the cold snap I was out driving around for most of it!
