You could always wrap and remove it later so you can keep the car in it's original monkeybum pink. There are some good products out there - [link=http://www.himho.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/April-Fool-Pranks-368x276.jpg]Polar Foils[/link] were recommended to me only this morning.

I'm wondering if the RS America is going to be represented at the RS Fest at Abbeville in June this year? There are going to be 100+ 964 RS's but how many RS Americas? There must be some RS Americas in Europe. Maybe Martin knows?

I've decided that I'm going to convert my Lightweight to RS America spec in readiness for the RS Fest. It's different I know - but the RS America is a rare car that's under-represented in the UK and on this forum. Can someone let me know the differences between the RSL and the America? Likely I may have some parts to sell off my RS and of course I'm looking for suitable conversion parts. It's rarity will make my car even more valuable.

Does anyone know if Porsche ever did an RS America in Rubystone Red or should I re-paint the car? Perhaps in Peridot Metallic as per the new Cayman R - that would be an awesome first? It would be a great help if I could get a pic of an RS America 'Photoshopped' in Peridot Metallic.

Think it's a great idea .... why not rip all the carpet out paint it white and put in some ngt seats and orange bits .... and wrap your knob in baco foil[:D]

Hi Des. I like ALL that but I might draw the line at white. Peridot Metallic with orange mirrors, spoilers, door-handles and a big orange fuck-off rear wing would look good. [:)]

A good friend of mine is breaking a 1979 Ford Fiesta. Apparently it has the same running gear so if you need some bits let me know. [;)]
