How many official 964 RS colours are there?
And for an extra point, what are the names?

Hi Brian
This depends on what your version of " Official" means. If you just include the colours offered by Porsche in the brochures or if you include colour to sample cars as well. Bear in mind Colour to sample cars were sprayed at werk one out of the " production line" .
The brochure colours are Gaurds red, Maritime blue, black,G P white, Rubystone red, midnght blue met, amythist met and polar silver. so that' s 8. To which ferrari yellow was added later. But you have to add to that the colour to sample cars which include ferrari yellow, light yellow, Lemon yellow, frog green, and peppermint green. And those are the ones I know about! [:(]

Though my RS is just ' common' Polar Silver ;) my buddy' s RS is Zermatt Silver Metallic (code: 55), a very different shade when viewed side by side. This was a special order colour in '92.
