RS Day Oulton - writeup

Nice article in Total 911 on this day. Melv's car features (suprise, suprise) plus a couple of small pics of the assembled mint green cars, and a full spread of Colin's Kermit. Quite a lot of coverage I thought and a good focus on the 964 RS!

Totally agree. Well written, great photographs. Really gives a true representation of the flavour of the day and what the 964RS is all about. [:)]

Anybody fancy scanning it for the cheapskates who don't subscribe any more (errrrrr, not that I'm one of them ........................)

I thought the 964 comparo over in HK across a few 964 models was a good read as well. I am also tempted to hunt down a Porsche Design 01 Chronograph as they look very tasty as well! [;)]

Tight fisted folks can get three issues for ÂŁ1 (and then cancel if you don't want it any more):

First time i've bought that mag in ages and great articles on the 964s - and yes Vic and nice 'back end' shot of the Cup Car - nothing like as handsome as the fella featured in this months 911 Porsche World :)

Actually thought the old Irish person caught the atmosphere rather well..............liked it all

Luv the way hes panned the Cuppie inside the pit lanr doing 15 mph to look like 150mph .........pity its wrong side of the wall!

It's due to the fast pulse rate of LED rear lights combined with the 'shutter speed' of digital video. Creates a strobing effect - you can see it a lot on Top Gear and 5th Gear too. [:)]
