Rs door caps needed

What are Rs door caps like??...can't picture a specific Rs part, are they any different to those on a C2?

Serious question, as you may have a bigger audience on the regular 993 forum.

Only caps I can think of on an RS are the trim caps which locate the door release pull, easy enough to get at OPC or carnewal.

Go on, give us a clue,,,which part of the door? [:D]

They are black and have a plastic covering. Most of the C2 door caps are leather covered so even if they are black, not authentic. It's a good point though, any black trimmed car without leather would be fine. I'll post up on the 993 forum.

Steve, are you talking about the ends to the top interior crash pad trim on the door, the part which has the locking button sticking through it?

I appreciate I am thick, but door caps isn't immediate obvious to me.

The other thing if it is the ends that"cap" the door trim, due to the cage they are not fitted on a CS, they have poorly trimmed black felt, cut to cover the ends.

Steve, this is a great game...

So, we have established the caps are on the ends of the interior door trim.

If you are going for the CS look, then cut black felt to fit, as stated above

If you want to try the regular black plastic 993 ends

part no

911 555 421 01c (left side)

911 555 422 01c (right side)

the 01c is the specific for black.

the accompanying retaining screw is, N 014 093 3

I would expect these to available to order from OPC or carnewal?
