Have a friend who has purchased a 73 RS LHD and it needs a passengers door mirror can you point him in the right direction as to who would have this .He is prepared to buy a pair as long as they fit in with the originality of the car .
thanks

I think Francis Tuthill can supply RS Mirrors - I belive they are made by Durant. Most RS's that I have seen only have a driver's door mirror.........

Extra mirror 3 mph off top speed ..................well that what they siad in those days !

Have been told that the car only came with one fitted as you say ,and also been told by the guys on DDK not to do it .So will pass this info onto the guy

All I know that is a 73RS LHD not a copy bought at Coys last year ..has had green script added I have been told did not come with black cars at the time ,also the fuchs wheels are also green .It has recaro style seats not sure they are standard fit .It was on the TIPEC display at the car show on Sunday at E-K sure turned a few heads for people who knew what it was .Can find out more if you want His dad is Barry Wood well known for his classic car collection and turned up in a original 68 AC Cobra also has a Legend at KH

DDK is a good contact point.

But the market has become fastidious about the originality of the genuine RSs, so he might be well advised to try and return the car to its ex-factory spec (details in the Carrera RS book).

Passenger door mirror is a definite no, and won't work anyway as it clashes with quarter light frame.
