Due to House Renovation and the time I now have availalble, it has meant 3 outings in 2 years to date.
So its time to hand the batten on to someone else!
It is the best drivers Porsche by far I have owned, and had some great times at tracks in the UK and Europe!

Well said Simon , and Respect for taking it to Spa in March this year for one of those few outings.

Hopefully the next owner will use it in the way it was intended....

You should have told the truth however that you will be putting the money towards an Alzen cup car if you can borrow the rest that will be required [;)]

Good luck with the sale, it looks like a great example.

As you own them you must know, but on the basis that you will have a sublime 993RS rhd and a 964 touring...

What is the advantage of the 964 touring over the Ngt, that the 993RS doesn't cover?

Hope you don't mind the question, but not many of us get the chance to own them all at once to compare.

cheers.

The decision is not easy and I have deliberated long and hard on the very same!
I have driven all 3 on the road and all on track (Touring) was at Clastres which was wet and twisty and then only briefly.
However surprisingly it was as quick as the N-GT, although on a faster track Spa or Ring I would expect it to be somewhat slower given the higher speeds, the N-GT can carry with confidence. And I guess that is where the decision was made the N-GT only really comes into its own when I'm pushing myself to the max (my driving ability does not allow me to push the car to its limit). So it is solely for me a track car, which on my 4 years of ownership averages 2-3 times a year. To get that thrill on the road is immediately going to mean hooligan behaviour and since Sir Brad won the Gold the roads are littered with two wheeled gangs at the weekend!
The 993 and 964 are different enough to warrant keeping one of each, although I do prefer the 964 edgier side to the 993 more forgiving relaxed tendencies, added the rarity of the Touring, it's condition and the number of doubters who have driven the Touring and been converted to its unique character.
So this is the conclusion of why out of the 3 great cars I have decided to sell the one that is the most involving and challenging of the three.

I think so!
Edited to include Hacki

Tks, that's interesting and I can see the sense.

At the end of the day, the Touring is also the rarest car, on that basis it should fair as well as any RS from an investment perspective?

I can see your point, with the NGT, they are by far, at their best when you are "on it", having had the pleasure of minty on quite a few occasions (cheers Des!)

I ended up with the 993 CS, on the basis that it has the torquey 3.8, can be driven quickly on B roads, yet comes even more alive when you lean on it!

I doubt the NGT will hang around, good luck with the sale!
