Hi all. Below is the respnse from Rebecca's mum, the little girl we raised cash for on the RS day at Oulton in March 09. Makes it all worth while. Thanks Tim

"I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to get in touch. Rebecca has just finished her intensive block of chemo so things have been really busy back and to, to Manchester.

She is doing fantastically well. It really knocked her at first, she couldn't walk for three months, or even hold up the top part of her body. But now she is back on her feet again and smiling which is the best thing even though she is still going through so much.

We are on week 24 of her treatment now, and it will continue until week 116. So we have still got a very long way to go.

We all just wanted to say the biggest THANK YOU ever to yourself and everyone who was involved and donated. It was a massive help. I can't really put into words how overwhelmed that we were when Issy asked if it was ok and then when she said just how much had been raised i really could not believe it. I cried yet again but with a different feeling inside, the feeling of generosity from people that don't even know us, yet were willing to help at such a difficult time.

I don't know how i could thank everyone enough for what they did, but again THANK YOU, and also to the extremely kind gentleman who donated the enormous amount of £500. THANK YOU TOO!!!

Myself, my eldest daughter, friends and family are all doing the Race for Life in June at Tatton Park. Our way of trying to give a little back to others too.

Thank you with all my heart,

Hopefully i will be able to give and help for somebody else next time that you all do something so fantastic.

The kindest Regards,

Debbie xxxxxxxxx"

Hi Pepper,
That really is such a massive response to my own small gesture-considering how much I enjoyed the whole day & thinking about that little girl, how much she has already gone through & how much she has yet to go through-thank you.

Colin.
