RSR, +1, Cat, Motorsound Airbox Info

1. RSRs (£600 ish from Gert at Carnewal. You can't get them anywhere else in Eurpoe as far as I know, at least new). Gives you nice low growl, like 993 always should have been IMHO.
2. Motorsound air intake cover, £60 ish new (or drill holes in your own to give you the same effect). All this gives you is a bit of a howl in the cabin when you are accelerating - quite nice. May lose little bit of BHP though as air may be warmer as it's sucked into engine - do a search on this on this forum or rennlist. I don't notice an power loss if it does indeed happen.
3. 100 cell cats (I think around £2K) - no idea what these add to the sound but have heard it's good!

Oh and as to where to get it done, well any good indie should be able to do this for you. I did my RSRs myself. Dremmel-type tool was a Godsend for cutting rusty clamp bolts. You can change intake cover yourself in 30 secs, or longer if you need to clean cover/box out.
