RSR Spoilers

Chaps, I've got a set of used OEM large spoiler, front spliter and side skirt set for 993RSwhich I'm planning on selling, but I have no idea how much to put it up for, I just remember paying through my nose for them when I got the car. The side skirts are new as I already had them on the car but they came as a set from Porsche. The Big spoiler is in good nick, spliters have a few scratches at the bottom but no damage to the plastic. They're painted spd yellow.

Any idea as to how much I can sell them for?

Hi Mick
They were expensive for sure from porsche when new.
I would say at least 3k may be 3500,does the rear spoiler have its little construction badge inside.
Last time i enquired with porsche they only had one original rear tail left in stock,so you may be able to realise more.
When they were around second hand,i could have purchased a rear tail for 2k on its own.I have not seen a proper rear tail for sale for some time now.

I bought a set from porsche earlier this year for my yellow car (now sold via TS) From memory the rear spoiler on its own was approx £5,200 but if you bought the complete kit inc front 3 piece front splitter , side skirts and bags and bags of screws etc worked out approx £4,500 that was with 15% discount on OPC pricing. Someone with access to the dealers system will be able to confirm but plain madness that the full kit was cheaper than the rear spoiler on its own. I too have an original larger spoiler pack up in the loft which was purchased about 5 years ago but the previous owner also retained the original small pack which is what it wears now.

The rightful place for a full spoiler set is on a Clubsport --- IMHO.

Why do you all have them in your loft ?

But certainly expensive from Porsche and so long as Porsche original, I'm sure that Paul is spot on the money --- and great advice from the Forum [;)]

I used to prefer the larger spoilers, infact nearly bought my latest car about 6 years ago via opc when it was sold with large pack but it had comfy seats. large pack & recaros was prefered option then.

As the value of cars have risen then some insist on originality.

Also in the loft is a new rear carpet with yellow 'carrera rs' script £50 if anyone wants to build a CS replica using Micks spoilers.....[:)]

CS replica with carpet in the back?[:D]

Imagine how quiet it would be, you could drive it without losing your mind?

Have to say I do prefer the smaller spoiler kit myself, it just looks right and not as over the top as the CS/RSR kit.

Thanks Paul, will put it up for sale in PCGB forum first and prob stick it on e-bay later.

Hi Mick, you didn't pay too much through the nose for them if I remember correctly. Personally I thought I'd managed to do a really good deal for you. I managed to negotiate something like 35% discount for you and passed it all on.

P.S. still down on the cage.
