Hi Dave, no she was just stripped for painting & weight saving gains for track use. Also using Carbon Fiber panels which are super light & strong and Titanium fittings where pos!
 
E Coat = Powder Coat? Seems to be an article for PP coming along Ian, what Donkey will the car have?
 
Des, I have a 996 ( Metzger ) Turbo lump for her but am collecting parts to make her a 3.8/3.9 stroker, hopefully with a reliable 5-600hp ( with minimum lag )

I understood E coat to be Electrostatic coating ( Galvanising ) which can be administered after acid stripping
 
E coating = electrophoretic coating - the most advanced anti-corrosion, immersion painting process available......

In and out of SPL fairly regularly with clients cars.... some look like new when they come out in the black e-coat.
