RSs at Donnington

Very nice vid Ian!

That black and orange car looked very fast...even if the driver has no skill at all![;)]

Nice to meet you again mate. See you soon.

Excellent day that was. Great video Ian and great lines at all the corners and NO braking down Craners[&:]
The 964's look well set up around Donington and so planted, joy to watch.

Sorry about the gravel incident in the afternoon[8|] Not in there too long and I drove back on the grass[]
With the Bilsteins and Toyo's the car was faster than me and I was adjusting brake and turn in points all day.

Cheers
Dave

Ian -we need to set your pedals up so that you can heel-and-toe properly!!!

Hope the weather is as good this Wednesday.........

Nice to meet you Jason and Dave - my first time at Donnington and I really enjoyed it. Great circuit, I just need to be a bit more adventurous through Cramer - wasn't braking, but by no means flat either!

Mel, I think the pedals are set up for heel-and-toe, I just can't do it yet. The PO has moved the brake pedal back so it's level with the accelerator.

Be careful about being too adventurous there Ian - when it goes there, it goes very quickly. I speak from experience on Sunday []. Nice video [:)]

Nice vid.

I haven't been to Donnington for a couple of years and watching that has made me miss it.

I agree about not getting too brave at Craners - I came a croper there in my old Elise trying to take it flat.
I have it on film somewhere. Ironically I was chasing an RS at the time and mocked him for braking (caught on film) shortly before my ride on the magic roundabout into the scenery.
Last time I've ever been cocky on track.....

nice vid Tim.

Donny vids are really interesting to watch....got to be my no.3 track at the minute after Spa and Oulton

Jason

I'd have to put the Ring at the top (by quite a big margin), but otherwise I totally agree with you. I'm glad the disaster outside Oulton in March hasn't put you of the circuit.

Tim,

Only been to the ring once...think I'd need about 100 laps before I start to work out which ruddy way the next corner turns! Think I must have done an 18min lap....nervous not the word for it!....especially as people kept dieing while we were there[]

Jason

It's a lot safer on a private day. RMA run two or three events a year out there and if I go with them, I'm even covered by my insurance policy. I've only done about 100 laps now, but I don't think anywhere can beat it. If you look up my account on youtube (timb964), you'll find a near complete lap from the summer.[:)]
