Following up on a thread from another Forum - has the NW now gone into hibernation for the winter months.
The last post on here was well over a month ago by Alan W re OPC Bolton.
The NW PistonHeads Forum (no blatent promotion intended) has immense traffic from local region posters. Anyone prepared to take up the mantle and get some weekend drives / meets / chats etc going ..... or has the run up to Xmas now already begun and disinterest in driving taken over?
I await the torrent of responces!

Yeah - the NW region is pretty widespread. If I remember correctly (from my RO days) N was North Manchester , Bury, Bolton, W across to the Wirral Chester etc, S to Crewe, Stoke & E to Buxton, Leek, Glossop
So if you are within that area you are in Region 5 North West.

I'm about 16 miles from Crewe

I use OPC Wilmslow

I know the roads around Leek, Buxton, Macclesfield etc very well [:D]

 
Sorry Graham,

Must arrange a run out V soon, but as you know Tara is a fair-weathered friend, so will be up to Chris/Roy/Stu to lead.

You could always suggest something if you fancy a run, I'll come but I'll be in the Dirty Girl.[;)]

How about lunch at the C&F? looks like it will have to be January for me though.. All these Xmas parties that require my attendance.

Count me in too. Nic you may have to bring it up at December's DW meet because this board is so quiet that most of us rarely visit it.

Although it is a way off we could also combine a boxa.net and R5 meet at next year's Oulton RS day (March IIRC).
 
16th March... a Friday. I'll be there though.

Dont' forget that the December meet is our Christams meal

Stoke & N Staff appears to fall within the West Midlands Region...
