Rubber coupling on drive shaft

hi all when I changed my lubricant and stat yesterday when I removed the plastic trays underneath my car I notice that the rubber coupling had some quite bad splits in it. I have now purchased a new coupling @ 80.00 plus vat. Has anyone changed one of these before on c4s it seems quite straight forward. It's at the end of the tip box driving the front transfer box.
