Rubber Mats for Boxster

I was about to order some rubber mats for mine but the dealer now says they're no longer available.
Last July I wrote they were in the Telequipment catalogue part no: 987 044 800 93 at £58.
Anyone inquired recently?
Chris

i was told they only did LHD for the 987.
halfords, 10 pounds - they have an offer on for a pair of good front mats that with a little scissor work do the job nicely.

The LHD makes sense, as I saw them on a US Forum.
Are these mats listed for the Boxster at Halfords then, or for another car & then you modify them to fit?

they are the ones you cut to size. the problem i had when asking about the 'custom' ones you see for about 40 quid is that they just cut them off a roll to size....so no lip round the edges which traps in water etc.

we got a set of the halfords one four years ago for the daily driver and they still look new - saw them the other day reduced to a tenner so picked some up. they are quite thick with a red card bit on the top where they hang them on the racks.

i had to chop out a bit round the accelerator and a little off the top for the passenger side but they fit pretty well and due to the ridges you can't really tell they are chopped down.

not specifically for the boxster. no marks on them at all, no 'halfords' or anything written on them. they are quite heavy mats, they had a red card stapled to the top so they could hang them on the rack which was right next to the door with a big discount sign above it.

they are universal fit so you can chop them down. only a tenner so you can't really go wrong esp as there aren't any 'official' porsche mats.

That's more like it. My local store has some in according to their website so will try a pair. My car has been delayed -sailing tonight,so one more week's wait.
Thanks a lot

London987,
Got the mats for £9.78, plenty of ridges as you say to held the water in.
Now all I need is the car before seeing what needs cutting. If you have any pics, would be useful?
Thanks
Chris

i'll try and remember to take a couple at the weekend - it's not too tricky though and as you can see, all the ridges mean that you can be pretty chop happy and get away with it!

i remembered. hope this helps.....had the cover on it so its a bit dark!

Hi,
Thanks, the accelerator cut out is just what I needed to see; the mats appear to do a good job with all those ridges.
Only collected my car late Sat.
