Rubber on drive shaft to front transfer box

hi all has anyone changed the rubber coupling on the front drive shaft before. I understand that Porsche Change the whole shaft but now you can buy just the rubber coupling which I have bought for 80.00 looks straight forward enough. just Interested if any body has done this before, I noticed it had three splits in it which I was quite surprised about being tucked away above the middle under tray. Seeing as everything else above it looks quite new/clean.
