rubber seal around the rear tail light?

Hi:

Do we have rubber seal around the rear signal light when the RS is new? I have been told by my mechanic that later 964 cancel the rubble seal. Is this true?

There were no additional rubber seals on the 964 RS, unlike the standard car (you'll see these fitted to 964 RS replicas, based on the standard car), nor are they needed to make the lights and reflector fit properly.
