Rubber seal between side skirts

Mine have shrunk a bit, are they easy to DIY replace and where can I get new ones? OPC or other?

You'll have to remove the sharks fin and the end retaining fastener on the skirt at the front. From there you can take out the old rubber seal and trim a new one to size with a stanley knife (they are supplied slightly long). Be aware the new rubbers are recessed to fit precisely into raised parts in the skirt, a dab of superglue will stop them shrinking. It may be possible to just stretch the old rubber seals back to length and fasten down again, depends how tatty they are. Buy from OPC (with P.C.G.B. discount) or somewhere like type 911, Design 911.

if you look on www.porsche964.co.uk there is a description of how to go about replacing the rubber strips.

quite easy to follow

Looks Ok to do, but that means it will be a pig and evry nut will break etc. LOL

I'll order the rubbers and see how brave I feel.

Thanks for the info
