Ruf style bumpers?

After Ive had the rusty sills/kiney bowls/ rust bubbles on offside rear wing/rust bubble on nearside front wing done, phew, my attention is now drawn to the front and rear bumpers , which are beggining to look a bit scruffy due to the oxidization bubbling up in various places.
The bumpers were stripped back to bare metal and repainted about 8 or 9 years ago but they want doing again now. Or do I change them for Ruf style bumpers? I have to say they do, in my opinion, give the 3.2 a cleaner more purposefull appearance.

But where can I get them from and how much are they.
I have seen them advertised on a couple of American websites but does anybody sell them in the UK?

Thanks in advance Guys.

Glenn

If you can get them in the UK, you'll pay approx twice price of having them shipped from the US.
This goes for just about anything at the moment, even allowing for VAT.

I agree. Search for "Ruf Bumper" on Pelican Parts BBS and you will find more than you ever wanted to know. There was a group buy from a group of Pelicanites last year from one of the better known US suppliers. You may still get a good price.

Actually you could try Ruf themselves. I think he still sells the ctr parts take a look on the web site www.rufautomobile.de or maybe .com

... also, the price of the parts from Ruf is enough to cause a rapid constriction of the wallet. The best bet on price, even taking into account shipping and VAT/duty, is IMHO the US suppliers.

Please keep us posted on what you find.
