Running Temperature

Hi everyone - I'm a new boy on the block!

I've recently bought my first Porsche, a life long ambition, it's a 1994 C2 with 87K miles and FOPC history. Having no experience of Porsches before now I would like to pick your brains - my car seems to run at a very low temperature with the needle only rising to approximately 3-4 mm above the second white line (between 7 and 8 O'clock) only rising further when stuck in traffic, but still below 8 O'clock. My specialist says don't worry about it, but as a first time doting Father I do!

Thanks Maurice - just to clarify the needle rises to just above the upper of 2 lines which are close together right at the bottom of the gauge, and has never been into the mid portion of the gauge say 8 to 10 O'clock zone.

Any idea why I'm listed as a non-member?

Re non member. You need to email the Porsche Club to get that sorted out. It is one of the stickies somewhere on the forum
