I have a bit of rust on sill and also rear wheel arch. Are there any treatment to reduce/prevent spread. Are there any panel or part section replacements that anyone has used to replace original panels and been pleased with ( if rust is widespread) -
What to look out for if buying replacement section (because are various grades of panel).
Is there anything you should avoid/horrors.

if you remove the black plastic air vent on the door pillar, you will be able to see inside the rear wheel arch and the rear of the cill. If it is rusting from the inside out, covering in Waxoil might buy some time. Really depends on how bad the rust is and whether it has gone right through, or if it is just external surface rust.
