Rusty cills !!

The wings were fine at the bottom but the rust had spread into the floor pans and all around the number plate lights had rusted through as well !!
 
my number plate lights are going at present, and the passenger rear corner, will have to look at them soon.
 
Notice how the entire length of the door bottom is starting to bubble as well.

I wonder if it has stood over damp grass for long period of time, because I've never seen it bad along there before
 
The car looked like it had been stood for a long time as all the tyres were flat/perished and the door handles were seized but funny enough the bottoms of the wings were fine and were the originals as it took me a while to get the underseal of the 3 back bolts !!
 
Certainly looks like an unloved model. The debris around it doesn't say "P&J" ... and those universal-fit fuel caps (red finned thing) are only ever associated with cars in their last months of life, in my experience ...

It was in a breakers yard hence the parts lying around but had only been in about 2 weeks but must have stood for ages before they got it in !!
