S2 Converted to Turbo

Stunning colour, why not just sell and buy a Turbo, did the colour have something to do with it ?
 
I'm going to stick my neck out here....

This car was advertised on P/H for £2500 and sold almost immediately. This was 10-14 weeks ago. I noticed it's now on sale again for a much greater price.

I don't think I'm wrong - how many "s2 to turbo" cars are there around? Let alone in this colour.
 
This may be a case where someone had a turbo that expired due to collision or rust and the S2 was upgraded with the key differences. (I didn't see a trans-axle or suspension change in the list but might have done). I'd certainly be temped if I had access to a mechanically sound late Turbo with cancer or other terminal illness.
