This engine came from a high mileage (230k) car but has lots of good bits.

My engine died last October at Spa - from a cracked oil pickup. We managed to restore the oil pressure by overfilling the sump. I think there was pretty much immediate damage to some lifters & the top end didn't quieten down. The car was driven home from Spa. Oil pressure remained good & it's never used much oil.

I sourced a recently built engine and have now started to dismantle this one

Newish (expensive) bits
Cams - almost new. Fitted by the PO approx 20k miles ago.
Waterpump - less than 3k miles on it
OPRV - fitted June 2013 (post Bedford!)

Plus
Manifolds
Head - complete (minus cams) but will need (some) new lifters. I'd assume you'd be refreshing it
Block - complete with pistons, crank etc.. I have pics of the bores. They are nearly all smooth & shiny...but #2 has a vertical score that you can feel with a fingernail https://www.dropbox.com/s/xxkwpg5jxnlpq7l/2014-04-17 20.57.47.jpg. I haven't had the sump off to check the bearings & crank but will try & get to that this week.
Alternator
Lots of bits & pieces

Drop me an email if you're interested in anything
