S2 exhaust questions

I'm looking to replace my tatty exhaust with a new stainless system & have read a few people have a Dansk exhaust & decat, which is what I'm thinking of getting. Looking at the Dansk, it's described as a 'rear box' but the pictures look like a 2 box system. Would any other parts be needed to make this into a 'full' system (apart from the decat obviously)?

Also can anyone suggest the best place to source a decat section?

Thanks,
Robbo

Cheers Dougie,

I phoned ESS & they quoted me £195 + vat for a decat section. Just wondering if there are any other/cheaper options.

Does anybody have any pictures of their car sporting a twin pipe style exhaust (like the ESS one)?

I'm dreaming about what I might install once a few more important jobs are completed.

Robbo,

I have a 89 S2 cab which doesn't have cat in the mid pipe but just a silencer. I had the silencer in the mid pipe cut out and replaced by a stainless steel tube which costed £30 all in by a custom exhaust fitter. I was just this mod only will give at least 5+bhp increase but I don't dispute.

I think Paul have the Dansk in his S2 and he highly rated it for its price and weight (much lighter that the OEM one).

Yes i have a few pics at home.. Ill post a few tonight when i get there....

For a exhaust / decat try Promax . I got mine from them a few moons ago...
