S2 LCD clock...how I laughed

My LCD clock has finally given up, white cresent shape covering 80% of the screen, so, since i was passing my local OPC, thought I would pop in and ask how much for a new one.

I know porsche ownership can be expensive but there also some reasonable prices as well.

As soon as the parts man laughed, and laughed out loud, I knew it would be bad, thinking maybe it will be 100 quid or something.

£248 plus VAT. Back to searching fleabay for a 2nd hand one then.

I saw some teeny-tiny speed camera detectors the other day that looked as though they might fit in the space vacated by a broken clock "¦ if my clock ever breaks (again) I think I'll investigate further.
