S2 or turbo fan relay advice needed

The relay can for the twin fans in my S2 is huge I am having trouble with my fans staying on and wanted to remove the relay can to inspect inside. When I try tried to wiggle and pull it free it pulls the whole fuse/relay tray with it.?[:(]

Does anyone know if this relay can does plug in and therefore can be removed ?

oh my S2 had A/Con and is fitted with the twin turbo style fan setup
