S2 Power upgrade

Does anyone know of any 'chip' upgrades for the S2? I'm looking for a modest power upgrade without compramising (too much) reliability. The 'SE' upgrade as mentioned on the forum previously appeals...

I upgraded the chip in mine for a promax one at about 100quid.It was fairly easy to fit.Not sure if i've noticed a power increase but it did feel much smoother after fitting especially on accelleration.

Would you like some 968 club sport style seats?
Hi Jon where could I get some? How much? In black? My old ones are worn now so a replacement is on the cards.

I dont have any club sport seats, I wish I did, with or without wear.

In my post I said "Club sport style seats" or more to the point, "Bucket seats" which can be brought in many car parts shops... I even noticed that Macro have some for sale sub £100 each

I wish I had some 968 ClubSport seats, too. Not that I think they're any good; I don't, but they are valuable to sell on.

You can get a much better fitting and lighter seat from any number of places. I'd strongly recommened visiting somewhere like GPR or Demon Tweeks, or possibly something like the Autosport show, so you can try lots of seats for fit because what fits me won't necessarily fit you and vice versa.

I got a mismatched pair of Corbeau steel framed bucket seats for only £40 on Ebay. They don't look as pretty as the painted fibreglass types and they are not as comfortable, but one weighs 8 kilos and the other is 6.

By comparison my electric leather armchairs are 25 kilos each and are sumptiously comfortable for the road (but very slidey on the track)

My Corbeau Sprint fibreglass shell seats weigh about 7.5 kg as I recall. I have read that 968 CS Recaros are closer to 12kg, though I am not sure why they would be so heavy. I can say from experience that they are quite wide and finding a seat that is snug without being tight is the ideal.
