Next Question...
What size are the rear speakers in a 944S2, 91my..Its NOT got the upgrade 10 speaker system...
Or should i ask,,
What size can be fitted comfortably into the rear speaker openings.+ give a GOOD sound...
Any recomendations to make + model would also help...
Ive just fitted a pair of the JBL,s into the front doors...

Dave,

6x4 for the rear I was told. I have Infinity Reference on both front and rear and they give decent sounds. I didn't spend too much money on the speakers cos my cab is not an ideal environment for proper hi-fidelity enjoyment.

Charles is correct they are 6x4 the same as the fronts but on the later cars you could put 6" round speakers in as the have the removable plate to allow for the 10 speaker upgrade.

Charles.. Thanks,
The ONLY size you can fit to a cab is 6/4 [ as ive got a 968 cab aswell],,but i realize i can fit different sizes into a coupe...It looks like 6" round ones are the way to go..
Any recomendations for make , quality etc.???

I have 6" round speakers in my megane coupe, i tried alpine but they sounded a bit tinny so they were replaced with rockford fosgate speakers which sound great. I will dig out the invoice and get the model number for you.

If you want a good sound, I would use Rockford Fosgate, Focal, JL Audio, depends on your budget really!
