Todays problem,starter wiring.
I have 4 wires, small red/black,red medium sized that runs back to behind the dash under the scuttle panel(drivers side)
One braided wire from the alternator, and one large wire that comes out of the body in that area
The starter has 4 connections.
One is from motor to solenoid(factory fitted)
Small solenoid screw which i believe the red/black small wire went to
I have another very slightly bigger screw terminal which i dont think had any wire
And the main stud terminal with 13mm nut.

Where do the three larger wires go please? My guess is all 3 go to the main stud, but im not sure

Thanks, Tim

Sounds right to me - I need to reconnect mine after the engine swap, but it's one of the bits I didn't take apart, so I wasn't sure what went where. I managed to dig up a few threads on rennlist that agreed with your suggestion.

1 wire to alternator, 1 to battery, 1 to charge post below windcreen.
